Cars was great, and spawned thousands of toys, and Cars 2 looks even greater, what with a British 'spy' car - voiced by Michael Caine no less. Check out the trailer here, and keep your eyes out for the toys this summer. Another movie blockbuster for sure. As soon as I have any news on the toy range. I'll let you know.

Sad to hear TOYFARE and Wizard demise recently, i had been a follower for many years and this is issue number one with great AT-AT toy on front. Some of the guys behind this magazine also went on to make the epically funny Robot Chicken series. Sadly missed. Upping the Ante

PBT's will be upping the blogging ante from now onwards, with some sneak peaks at some new toys, whats going down with current toys and a lot more... things that appear to be resonating with my two kids are series 4 of Lego Mini Figures - which seem to becoming a revolution in pocketmoney purchases. Simple fun and totally collectable... we can't wait to see what series 5 has in store (i'm hoping for a DJ and an Office Worker) (do we have enough characters to create the Village People yet, now we have the Indian Chief and a Cowboy??). Zoobles still cute and Bakugan like for girls! And talking of Bakugan - they have taken these to the next step....

Plus the new Moshi Monsters Magazine. The whole experience of collecting and playing with toys has gone online and off and the kids are loving it...Check out the cute MOSHI plushes too...

As the new Series of Doctor Who launches on TV expect some new action figures and other bits and pieces. Particularly the Character Building secret packs (similar to Lego) which also come in an HM Armed Forces range. These will be flying off the shelves.
